Standing before her "flipper", a property that sat idle for eight years, long enough to be infested by mice and lathered with neon green mold.

Kamp Kerberle 9/19 8.5 walking miles
Snuggled like a well loved pet hamster in the Colonial Suite, I made my way out of bed late (7:30), yet early enough to be refreshed by the forty degree temperature and still early enough to watch the fog rise off the lake. After a cup of fresh brewed coffee, I made my way to the deck to do the Form. Afterwards, in the quiet of the morning, I ate my usual yogurt, fruit, and nut mixture while leisurely reading yesterday's Boston Globe. Our hosts, Ryan and Erica Keberle, who arrived late from the Bronx last night, stirred about 9:30. After morning hugs, greetings, and glad tidings, Ryan made a srumptious potluck frittata (He deftly and magically mixed and matched the ingredients he had on hand). Feeling as satisfied as a Hobbit, I patted my plump belly, accepting in earnest the flavor change of our tour: Gasbutt to Fatbutt. Rationalizing, I decided we all should have such problems. From second breakfast, our company dispersed. Ed took his first siesta, Erica did some young tycoon work, Ryan did his daily workout, and I comtemplated the cosmogonal vagaries (i.e I sat on my fat butt). Early afternoon, feeling the need to get in a few steps, Ed, Erica, and I walked the 2.5 miles to the the Schenkman (Former owner) House that Erica, the budding real estate tycoon, has purchased, renovated, and now will flip. It's her first attempt at flipping a house in this area, and at least to my eye, she's positioned herself perfectly in this yet to be discovered area. In late afternoon, Erica went to her horse riding lesson while I, with the very able assistance of Ryan, prepared seafood pasta (Thin gruel once again). We topped the night off with a bit of petty larceny. I drove the getaway car as Ed and Erica snatched an old sink from a neighbor's free give away pile (I hope, since curiously Erica wanted to take the unfamiliar rental car on the larcenous foray). For their gracious hospitality, Ryan and Erica shared "best" humans of the day, and they proved beyond argument that life is good, especially today.
